If your products ship with a UL label and may end up outdoors, the Zebra Z-Xtreme 4000T is built for that. This matte polyester thermal transfer label uses a High Performance Acrylic adhesive and provides great print quality while at the same time providing harsh chemical resistance..
It is UL 969 certified with three Zebra ribbons (6200, 6100, and 3200) and UL-recognized for indoor and outdoor use. It also grips plastic parts far better than typical polyester labels, which makes it a strong fit for electronics, automotive, and equipment manufacturers.
Many UL label stocks are certified with only one or two ribbons, or only for indoor use. The 4000T is certified with three Zebra ribbons and recognized for outdoor use, so one label can cover more of your product line.
Zebra designs, produces, and pretests its own supplies using an ISO 9001 certified, 23-point inspection process. Supplies are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from shipment.
Print the 4000T with Zebra 6200 wax/resin, 6100 resin, or 3200 resin ribbons; all three carry the UL 969 certification. Zebra desktop, mid-range, and high-performance thermal transfer printers deliver the best results.
Zebra recommends the 4000T for UL product labeling, top-side PCB labels, product identification, and automotive labeling. It also suits medical devices and food preparation equipment that are cleaned with chemicals.
The label works indoors and outdoors for up to 3 years, across a -40°F to 300°F service range.
